Crossing over the bridge, you move from Africa to Asia's mythical Kingdom of Anandapur complete with crumbling ruins of an ancient village, its temples and even a maharajah's palace.
Asia, Animal Kingdom's newest land, opened in 1999 and features a water raft ride, walking animal trail and bird show. The architecture is beautiful so be sure and spend time exploring your surroundings.
Just as the park's Africa section is set in the fictional village of Harambe, guests to Asia find themselves in the village of "Anandapur," which means "place of delight" in Sanskrit.
