The Disneyland Hotel opened October 5, 1955. Although the first brochure indicated 104 guest rooms, only seven rooms were ready for
guest occupancy the first night. An eighth room served as the registration lobby because the real one wasn’t ready. The Hotel now has
973 guest rooms in three towers.
