Go ahead, you know you want to, so sing along! Global unity is celebrated in this ode to peace and harmony. Dance and costumes from many continents add to the diverse pageantry that makes this a boat ride for the ages.

  • Originally created for the 1964 New York World's Fair.

  • "Children of the World" was the working title of the attraction

  • Over 300 Audio-Animatronics® figures

  • 100 international dolls bring this splendid spectacle to life

  • Artist and Imagineer Mary Blair, is famous for her colorful dolls, their native costumes and fanciful sets.

Each year, between November 7th and January 9th the attraction transforms into a winter wonderland with a Christmas holiday overlay, as seen in this video.

“Fa La La La La” – The attraction’s soundtrack is a merry mix of “Jingle Bells” and “Deck The Halls” in counterpoint with the classic “it’s a small world” tune. Children’s voices sing along in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Scandinavian languages.

Each holiday season, an estimated 50,000 Christmas lights are installed on the façade.

The breathtaking and intricate lighting design calls for six brilliant colors that interplay with clear twinkling lights.
