While waiting outside in a lanai area for the show to start, visitors are serenaded by Hawaiian music.

Moving inside the Enchanted Tiki Gardens, the guests now meet several of the Hawaiian Island tiki gods and goddesses, where fantasy and legend walk hand in hand with Tiki talk, as they guard the portals to Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.

Maui

Maui
Who Roped the playful sun
and brought his people time

Through his special mystic powers
He made the sun keep regular hours
Maui tells us time to go
Time for wonderous tiki show

My name is Maui. Natives call me the mighty one.
I tame the playful sun, and gave my people time.
Now they set their clocks by mine,
for I am tropic standard time.
